If you’ve ever been to OFFSET, you’ll understand that instant buzz once you walk through the doors. There is a sense that all creativity is ignited over the course of three days where curiosity is met with an abundance of like-minded people who are equally searching for inspiration. With so much going on from main stage to second stage, screen-printing to book signings, what does it take to be able to capture all the goings on from the OFFSET weekend.
When it comes to capturing an event like OFFSET, we need a video content team that thrives in a busy environment and can think of their feet. Once again, McCann Dublin will be creating the event video for this event and we couldn’t be happier to do so. We spoke to the man behind the camera, our in-house videographer James, to get an idea into what it’s like summing up a three-day creative conference in a four-minute video.
“It was a great experience and often a little surreal at times. The effort gone into dressing the venue made for some very cool, cinematic shots and staff were very interested in helping me get the craziest shots like attaching GoPro’s to the ceiling!
You could see the passion and excitement in everyone who attended and trying to capture those feelings was an interesting challenge. Shooting video portraits with each speaker was very humbling and it was great to witness them expressing a little more of their character.
I’m very excited to see what interesting, new ways we can approach the film this year with a new venue.”
